The Käte Hamburger Kolleg: Cultures of Research is offering ten research fellowships for international scholars from the humanities, social sciences or STS as well as from natural, life and technical sciences for the academic year 2024/2025.


The Käte Hamburger Kolleg: Cultures of Research, based in Aachen, was founded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research to give international scholarship holders the opportunity to advance their research projects in a dynamic and academic environment at one of Europe's largest technical universities.
For up to 12 months, the scholarship holders with philosophical, sociological, historical, scientific and technical backgrounds can exchange ideas with each other and develop ideas for their respective research.

For precisely this purpose, the Käte Hamburger Kolleg: Cultures of Research has also created 10 scholarship places for junior (completed doctorate) and senior fellowship holders (existing professorship or similar) for the 2024/2025 academic year. The application deadline is December 31, 2023.
