Assessment of the Doctoral Thesis (§14)
The Assessors each receive 1 copy of the doctoral thesis and are requested to provide a written assessment of it within 3 months.
Following receipt of the assessments, the Dean renders the doctoral thesis and the assessments open to inspection within the Dean's Office or to observations in writing by the teaching staff of the School (excluding retired persons) and those members of the School Council holding a doctoral degree. The period of inspection is 2 weeks during the lecture period and 4 weeks during the lecture-free period. The deadline for observations terminates with the expiration of the 2nd working day following the end of the period of inspection.
Should the Assessors concur on the acceptance of the doctoral thesis, the Dean affirms that the doctoral thesis has been accepted.
