Profile

Lisa Spantig gained her doctoral degree from the University of Munich (LMU) in 2018. During her doctoral studies there, she was employed as a research and teaching assistant at the Chair for Behavioral and Experimental Economics, where she was also manager of the interdisciplinary experimental laboratory “MELESSA”. From 2019 to 2021, she engaged in teaching and research as an assistant professor at the University of Essex in the UK.

In June 2021, Lisa Spantig took up the position of Assistant Professor (“Juniorprofessorin”) for Experimental Economic Research at RWTH Aachen University, where she also manages the “AIXperiment” laboratory. She is affiliated to the University of Essex and to the CESifo research network.

In Lisa Spantig’s research, both the laboratory and the internet as well as different countries, such as the Philippines, India, or Kenya, serve as sources for the collection of primary data.
