Industrial Advisory Board

Since January 2020, the School of Business and Economics has its own Industrial Advisory Board. The purpose of creating such a Board was to incorporate perspectives from outside the University community into the School’s strategic orientation and to stimulate a mutual exchange of ideas and information between the University and industry. Composed of alumni of the School and managers from regional, national, and international companies, the Board serves as an advisory body to the School, providing orientational guidance, suggestions, and opinions on the University’s programs and activities. By providing information about the latest innovations and trends in both business and industry, the Board enables the School to acquire practical insights into the current needs of these two sectors. Where appropriate, the School can then integrate this innovative information into its own teaching activities and curricula; it can also make informed decisions about introducing new programs of study and about adapting existing programs.
