Examination Accommodations and Modifications for Students with Disabilities
RWTH Aachen University strives to ensure that students with disabilities and students with chronic illnesses are not disadvantaged in any way during the course of their studies. The respective Regulations for Examinations also take the particular needs of students with disabilities and students with chronic illnesses into consideration and regulate accommodations and modifications.
All students with disabilities or with chronic illnesses have the opportunity to apply for examination accommodations and modifications. For more detailed information, please visit the following web page:
Assessment Accommodations for Disabled and Chronically Ill Students
Please note that an application for examination accommodations and modifications ("Nachteilsausgleich") must have been submitted before the onset of a semester to the relevant Examination Board. Processing of your application will take a certain amount of time, as the application and the necessary medical documentation will need to be assessed by the Examination Board and the relevant Chairs and Institutes will need to be informed as early as possible about any modified examination procedures.
