Profile

Christian Grund was born in Minden/Westfalen in 1971. His first degree in business and economics was awarded in 1997 by the University of Hannover. In 2001 he received a doctoral degree and in 2005 a post-doctoral Habilitation degree, both from the University of Bonn. He has spent periods of researching at the Stanford Graduate School of Business in the USA, the Aarhus School of Business in Denmark, and McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He has held chairs of human resources and organization at the Universities of Würzburg and Duisburg-Essen. Christian Grund is a research fellow of the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA), a research affiliate of the Center for Corporate Performance (Copenhagen Business School), and editor in chief of the German Journal of Human Resource Management. Since October 2012, Christian Grund has been teaching and researching at RWTH Aachen University.
