New Article on Virtual Reality Experiments by Profs. Gürerk and Kittsteiner

 

The Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics is publishing an article by Prof. Özgür Gürerk (Experimental Economics) entitled "Virtual humans as co-workers: A novel methodology to study peer effects". His co-authors are Andrea Bönsch (Visual Computing Institute and JARA-HPC), Prof. Thomas Kittsteiner (Chair of Microeconomics), and Dr. Andreas Staffeldt (Chair of Organization).

The article is the first publication of the project on virtual reality experiments which address economically relevant questions. This interdisciplinary project is part of the Excellence Initiative. The publication demonstrates that the scientific community recognizes the potential for research in experimental economics of these innovative research methods developed in Aachen,
