Exchange Program with Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok 2017

In 2017, the School of Business and Economics will be implementing the student exchange program with Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, for the 13th time.

Students on the Master of Science in Business Administration, Master of Science in Management, Business and Economics, or Master of Science in Business Administration and Engineering programs are welcome to take part in the exchange program with Thailand in 2017 and are eligible to apply via the following two seminars:

1) "International Management in Thailand" - Prof. Lorz (IW) and Prof. Thomes (WISO)

In April 2017, around 55 Thai Master students and their professors from Chulalongkorn University will visit RWTH Aachen University. During their week's stay, they will be working together with the RWTH participants, who will be expected to get actively involved. Besides attending events and courses at RWTH Aachen University, our Thai guests will also pay visits to firms and be taken on trips in and around Aachen.

In the Excursion Week 2017, seminar students from the School of Business and Economics at RWTH Aachen University will travel out to Thailand to attend lectures at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok and to visit firms such as Singha Beer, Siemens, and Sea Value, and to take part in discussions in key institutions on the support provided for the internationalization plans of younger enterprises.

The student exchange program between RWTH Aachen University and Chulalongkorn University gives both Thai and German students an excellent opportunity to gain their first intercultural experiences, and to gain an awareness of international companies' viewpoints.

All actively participating students are awarded a certificate that demonstrates their intercultural proficiency.
